Since its establishment in 2002, The Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center has provided free support services to persons who have attempted suicide and to family and friends affected by suicide. The Center organizes 6-8 persons small groups and educational, leisure, community service and holiday activities where one can receive professional support and that create a common space for attempters, family members, friends, volunteers and professionals fostering dialogue and understanding

In order to meet the needs of persons with depression and their family and friends, we will be expanding our support group activities.

We have created a safe space for depressed persons and their family and friends where they can open their hearts to the understanding, support and encouragement they will find here and where they can let go of their heart's burdens, freely express their emotions, and to reflect and cherish a new found meaning in life.
